These simple strawberry ice pops are just that - simple and super easy to make! But they are truly a delight to eat and perfect for cooling down with on a warm day.
Another thing about these strawberry ice pops is that they are pure, as in, they only contain one ingredient - strawberries. So, I know it's not much of a recipe when all you're doing is consuming strawberries in a different state, but we make these a lot, so I wanted to share them with you, too!
Few things signal the arrival of summer more than strawberries, and if you're in the UK, strawberries will almost certainly draw an association with the Wimbledon tennis championships, where hundreds of thousands of portions are served each year. We certainly love British strawberries when they're in season, and these strawberry ice pops just allow us yet another way to enjoy them.
If you get a batch of strawberries that just aren't sweet (it happens, I know!), all is not lost. Add a squeeze of honey to the strawberries until they are sweetened to your liking, and you're good to go.
I always use my favourite ice pop moulds whenever I make ice pops. Each pop is about 90ml - a good size for keeping cool - but the best part is that the moulds are removable from the base, which means that when the pops are frozen, they can be stored in the freezer without needing to stand in the base!
We can't get enough of these strawberry ice pops or their beautiful ruby red colour. Enjoy them as a cooling snack whenever you need to escape the heat.
