Hello,

Well, it has been a busy few months! With the Easter bank holiday weekend now a distant memory, never fear, as we have THREE bank holidays this May to get us through to summer. Even if you're not a royalist, it's an exciting time here in the UK, as many of us won't have experienced a coronation before.

Included in the excitement of May is also Mother's Day for many around the world. So, whether you're celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III, the mother figure in your life or just a lovely spring afternoon, my latest recipes are sure to suit all occasions.

Victoria Sponge Cake


This quintessentially British cake is not just for royal celebrations and red, white and blue parties, but it's also perfect for Mother's Day or afternoon tea.

Black Sesame Buns


A fusion between the ubiquitous Swedish cardamom buns and my favourite filling, black sesame paste, these black sesame buns are another treat to spoil Mum with.

We were fortunate enough to be a part of an amazing international Gala concert, which took place at the Royal Albert Hall on Easter Sunday. It was an experience we'll never forget!
