Christmas is coming! 🎄 Plus New Pages 📝 December 14, 2021 |
Hello, I hope you are well! There are only eleven more sleeps until Christmas, but who's counting anyway?! It's funny, because growing up in the US, Christmas was always more of a religious holiday. But here in the UK, it seems like EVERYONE celebrates Christmas! It's more of a winter holiday than a religious one, and it's really nice to see everyone getting into the festive spirit. I hope you are looking forward to a break at the end of the year, even if you don't celebrate Christmas. We could all do with some downtime to rest and recharge. Wishing you and your loved ones a peaceful and healthy holiday season and all the very best for 2022! In the meantime, let's take a look below at what's new on the site. Christmas 🎄The traditional Christmas pudding in an easy recipe you can make at home! Even non-fruitcake people 🙋🏻♀️ should give this a try, as you may be pleasantly surprised. 😉

Covid notwithstanding, the boys have been really busy at school, and we're all exhausted and looking forward to a break. As always, the run-up to Christmas is the best part of the season, with festive decorating, carol singing, sweet baking and general anticipation for the big day. The school term ends tomorrow, and I feel like we'll then be able to fully relax and enjoy the Christmas season. We're looking forward to seeing some friends and doing lots of eating and baking, but mostly, we'll be looking forward to morning lie-ins with nowhere to be. ✨ Thank you for reading and for your support. 🙏 I hope you've enjoyed this newsletter. Until next time! Meanwhile, keep cooking and carry on. Wendy | Serves 4 Questions or comments? Requests or feedback? Whatever's on your mind, I'd love to hear from you.
